From the Airport
Taxi Service and Ride Sharing
Nashville International Airport (BNA) is approximately eight miles from the resort. One-way fare is estimated at about $30 USD. Taxis pick up on the inner curb near the Information office, Lyft picks up in Ride App Zone A, and Uber picks up in Ride App Zones B and C. Overhead signs will direct you.
Sedan & Limousine Service
The Sedan and Limousine Service provides transport to and from the airport and downtown Nashville. To make exploring as easy as possible, a variety of shuttle routes connect the Gaylord Opryland Resort and The Inn at Opryland with the General Jackson Showboat, the Grand Ole Opry House, Opry Mills, and Gaylord Springs Golf.
Downtown Nashville Transportation
Downtown Nashville is the hub of the entertainment and nightlife that defines Music City and is approximately 10 miles from the Gaylord Opryland Resort. Taxis and ride sharing services (Uber and Lyft) are all available from the hotel.

Andrew Jackson's Hermitage
The Hermitage, home of President Andrew Jackson, is one of the largest and most visited presidential homes in the United States and was recently named the #1 historic house in Tennessee. Today, The Hermitage is a 1,120-acre National Historic Landmark with over 30 historic buildings, which welcomes some 200,000 annual visitors, including 30,000 schoolchildren, from all 50 states and many foreign countries. Visit Andrew Jackson's Hermitage to witness "The Duel: The Art of the Southern Gentleman." This 30-minute visitor experience will answer questions about dueling followed by an actual demonstration by our historic re-enactors. “The Duel” takes place every Thursday through Sunday throughout the day and is included with paid admission.
The Johnny Cash Museum
The Johnny Cash Museum features the world's largest collection of Johnny Cash artifacts and memorabilia in the world. Walk through the life of the Man in Black depicted in interactive exhibits, films, and much more. We feature a Bongo Java Coffee Shop and Museum Cafe. Officially endorsed by the Cash Family, the museum recently received the coveted AAA GEM rating—the highest bestowed on an attraction. We are one of only six attractions in Nashville to have this distinction.
The Nashville Zoo at Grassmere
Nashville Zoo's mission is to inspire a culture of understanding and discovery of our natural world through conservation, innovation, and leadership. Nashville Zoo is a progressive and dynamic zoological park located just six miles south of downtown Nashville. With just 90 of 188 acres developed, Nashville Zoo is the ninth largest zoo in the country by landmass. The zoo is one of the top tourist attractions in the state and has been named the Best Regional Attraction and Best Day Trip by The Tennessean.

Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum honors musicians—from stars to studio players and from all genres of music. Historic artifacts include instruments played on original recordings of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Hank Williams, Sr., George Harrison, Frank Sinatra, The Supremes, Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan, Chicago, and more. Grand Ole Opry House Backstage Tour
